For once the weather gods (to whom humblest felicitations) did not smile upon us as they usually do, and it was into a forecast of showers that we headed.

Twenty two keen birders met at the Buttongrass Nature Trail for a days birding in the Bunyip State Park.  It was a cool and sunny day and the winter solstice, hopefully the birds would be out.
